Morgan Park...model city

Morgan Park is a planned community built by US Steel in the early 1900's. The community thrived with recreational facilities, community clubs, grocery stores, K-12 school, and even its own police and fire department. Eventually the steel plant declined and was shut down. The historic nature of the community is still alive. Please take the time to look at our website. It not only looks at Morgan Parks history, but also has a wealth of current information, what's being done with the Morgan Park revitalization project, and Community Club news.

Arnold R Alanen wrote a book about Morgan Park. In His book he brings Morgan Park's histgory back to life. He will be in Duluth May 29th to discuss his book and our history. The book can be purchased at Amazon.com
